About the Role
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to build, maintain and optimize professional websites and web applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with WordPress, PHP, responsive design, plugin development and website performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain WordPress websites and custom themes.
Customize WordPress plugins and develop new functionality.
Build responsive, mobile-friendly user interfaces.
Work with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
Optimize website speed, SEO and security.
Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve bugs.
Collaborate with designers, content teams and project managers.
Maintain code quality, documentation and version control.
Required Skills
2–4 years of WordPress development experience.
Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and responsive design.
Understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, custom post types and shortcodes.
Experience with WordPress themes and plugin customization.
Knowledge of website security, backups and performance optimization.
Familiarity with Git and REST APIs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing custom WordPress plugins.
Knowledge of WooCommerce.
Familiarity with hosting platforms, DNS and SSL configuration.
Understanding of technical SEO and Core Web Vitals.
Experience integrating AI APIs or workflow automation.
